Heroes Rocks
I know its Thanksgiving and I should be blogging about that, and maybe I'll get around to it, but right now I want to talk about Heroes. What an episode this week! I haven't seen anything on TV that intense in years. I think Jennifer and I sat their speechless the entire episode. They couldn't have done a better job with the whole scene between Sylar, Claire, and Peter. In my opinion, it lived up to expectations in a big way. The acting was phenomenal. I realized last night that these people are really diving into their characters. And it's not just a few of them. They are ALL getting invested. I think that is one thing driving the show. With such a potentially silly concept, the actors are taking the acting seriously. Obviously, next week's episode will takes place 6 months in the past, so it will be interesting to see how that unfolds. Personally, I am most interested in finding out what has been going on with Hiro, but learning some real info on Sylar will be nice as well. My brother thanks he is pretty much Magneto and can control metal. At first I didn't like that theory, but I now think it would be perfect. If you have a show that CLEARLY rips off a particular comic book, why not pay it some homage by making the arch nemesis have the same ability has the nemesis in the comic? Still, I think my brother is wrong. I think Sylar's power will be something like telekinesis (moving things with your mind), but it doesn't mean I don't like his theory.

And how great is it that there are nobodies in the show who also have powers!
